ok so ive never done this before, just wondering what people in the uk would recomend for collecting tickets, are you getting them posted or picking up at the venue?

I think you have to pick them up there. Just take along your I.D (passport?) And maybe an invoice printed from the web. That's what I'm doing.

Yeah, I don't think Ticketmaster let you print your own tickets or mail them if you live outside the USA, so picking up at willcall is the only option - this is what I've done for the last 3 years. I have always stayed in hotels and picked up my tickets on the first morning of the festival. If you are planning to do this expect a long queue for willcall if you arrive anytime from about 10.00 A.M. - I have had to wait for up to an hour before. Then you have to get into another queue to get into the festival which opens at 12.00 usually - again expect quite a wait if you are there before the gates open. This year I am hoping to get to willcall on the Thursday to cut out the wait time on the Friday morning.

Usually the venue box office, but at Coachella its a portakabin with about ten windows with a person behind each one to find your tickets (they usually have it organised so that window 1 is surnames beginning with A to H, etc with a couple of windows for on the day ticket sales if it hasn't sold out and one for press/VIP passes.

I am from the UK but have relatives in the USA. Do you think it is better to give their address so they get the tickets and can send them on to me? No need for will call then?

EDIT: I have bought 2 using USA address and fast ticket but with UK card hope that is accepted!

OK got a huge problem, buying tickets from the Uk but from my mates card, who is not coming with me. It says that the person whose ticket it is as to be there to collect it.

Is there any way around this?
