I don't spend a lot of time here...but I do love music and I do love Coachella...and I would like to propose the Hold Steady's 'Chillout Tent' as the unofficial 2007 festival anthem, just because I can't hear it and NOT think of Coachella.

Peace

Wouldn't it be better to select a song from say someone ... oh, I don't know ... that's actually playing the festival???

We work hard and we play hard.

Whatever the Coachella anthem is, I think it should be something played by a marching band in bikinis.

And remember....the key word here is unofficial....and these type of things don't get much more unnoficial than me! That was just the first festival themed song that i liked that sprang to mind

'Chillout Tent' fits better for Bonnaroo.

Or that doesn't suck balls at least.

That'll rule out any Silversun Pickups song.

I'm telling you right now The Polyphonic Spree "It's The Sun" is perfect. The way it is shown in the movie with everyone smiling and playing just sets the tone of what Coachella is like

How great would it be to hear Kermit the Frog singing "Rainbow Connection" as you walked around the fields?

A good anthem would be "!9" by Paul Hardcastle to reflect the relatively young age of most attendees, not because it is about dead soldiers in Vietnam.
