Who would you rather see at Coachella 2007?

It would be nice to have both, but lets say we only had the choice of one.

I would think he'd do one or two Pulp songs, but his set would consist of mainly stuff off Jarvis.

Why versus? Why not both? Thom Yorke and Jarvis Cocker performing together. Now, that is what I call fantastic.

I'll take both please.

Jarvis would wave his bottom and Thom would retreat, then write a tortured avant-garde electronic song about how rich rock stars' bottoms pave the way to hell. And Jarvis would chuckle in Paris.

I say this as a huge fan of both men/bands ;)

Oh wait, you mean who would we rather see? I was thinking cage match. Um, still Jarvis, cause RH played a couple years ago and were rad, and I'm not sure how well TY's solo material would go over at Coachella -- somewhere smaller and less hot, maybe. Or at night, in a tent, but then crowds become an issue . . .

I don't really like Thom Yorke or Radiohead and love Pulp so this is a pretty easy one for me. Also I've met Jarvis Cocker quite a few times and he bought me a pint once; his mum is good friends with my mum. Presumably Jarvis will play some Pulp songs as he only has one solo album.

Has to be Jarv. Different Class wanked on anything that Radiohead have ever done.

Thom Yorke - First of All because, radiohead is awesome. And secondly because he didn't butcher a song from the new AIR cd.

I voted for Jarvis.. his solo album I like much better than Thom's.
Imagine if Jarvis played a solo version of 'Mile End' at Coachella.. if you've seen the movie Trainspotting then you have heard it..

Jarvis may have "butchered" and "destroyed" an album or a song here and there, but I'd say Thom has consistently butchered and destroyed Radiohead's music since OK Computer. I always get ostracized for saying that. In all honesty, I think it was put best here:

radiohead over pulp, solo jarvis over thom
you'd never get thom invade wacko jackos stage and wiggle his ass

I'm not a huge fan of newer Radiohead, but they still know how to rock. Thom alone just knows how to twitch and squeal. I'd rather stay in and watch Rubber Johnny to get that sort of fun.

As much as I love Radiohead, Jarvis put out the better solo album. And of course he's an incredible showman.
