I go see the Ringo All Starr Band every year.

Maybe at Coachella we could have a modern rock version of the RIngo All Starr Band play?

Imagine Perry Farrell, The Killers, No Doubt, Chris Cornell etc all doing songs with Ringo? That would be totally awesome!

A cooperative band effort minus Ringo would actually be a cool idea. All the talent at Coachella every year, there could easily be an "all star band" slot each day

As long as you forget about things like recording contracts, and the such XD

What do you have against Ringo? If Paul can play Coachella, so should Ringo.

His post-Beatles carreer says everything. Ringo has NEVER taken stage and made people cry with his sweet voice/ music... unless, of course, those people were feeling lucky to be so close to someone who actually knew great talent. I wouldn't mind seeing him backing good bands.... if he can keep up. Paul had people teary eyed when he headlined, enchanted. Ringo is a 50s rock n roll cover band. Even Lennon got tired of that crap

I was actually hoping to see Ringo drumming for Paul. When I didn't see him there, I lost all hope for him.

The 2000 Summersault festival across Canada(Pumpkins final tour,OLP, Foos, Sum 41 and early APC) had one of the early mainstage slots reserved for a loosely themed Kiss tribute act comprised of whatever musicians wanted to play that early. Maynard did do it at least once.

How about "Grohl's All Starr band" including some Nirvana material done with guests?

Dave could do it. Maybe one or two Nirvana tunes, seeing as he's been a part of so much more since. Sounds too dreamy and cool to happen, unfortunately.
