He still toured in the late 90's, including the WHO US Quadrophenia tour in 1996 as well as full GG shows in the UK. Must be close to 15 years since his last official concert.

maybe Coachella would stop being an all ages festival if Glitter played - not a bad trade off, IMHO.

BUT WE COULD ALL YELL HEY A BUNCH OF TIMES OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND IT WOULD BE THE GREATEST MOMENT IN COACHELLA HISTORY

The bro factor would be off the charts.

The bro factor would be off the charts.

It would be like a Chicago Bulls' playoff game circa 1993.

My dream? Glitter plays Coachella 2013, attracts all the bros thinking it's that one song from every professional sports game ever played, puts roofy mist in the smoke machines and then happily anally rapes every single one of them - in a legitimate and gift-from-God kinda way, of course.

Rappers resume their careers after jail stints.

Times have changed. Chances of him being given a visa to visit the US = 0.

Rappers' careers don't even begin until after jail stints.

Wasn't Pete Townshend allowed to tour in the US and Canada while technically having his name on the UK sex offender list?

Chuck Berry was able to work internationally for the past 53 years after being arrested for transporting a 14 year old girl across state lines. Plus the 80's jail time.

I remember a year or two ago there being debate if Roman Polanski could professionally return to the US without being arrested.

I've always been surprised Motely Crue get work visas anywhere. They have been arrested for doing some HORRIBLE things.

R. Kelly still tours and more shockingly does OK business.

I could name several artists that were banned from the US at one point(not sexual offenders). I think companies like AEG and Live Nation have muscle/connections.

I don't care if Glitter ever performs again as his legacy is an artist with a very short time on the charts, Though I'm more curious with someone like Boy George/Culture Club ever being able to work in North America or elsewhere ever again.

I believe Glitter had his passport taken away. So no passport would be the problem.

Also he was deported from Vietnam. Deportation for whatever reason is usually a major problem for getting visa's.
