Just experienced Mr. Ant & The Good The Mad & The Lovely Posse this weekend in Ventura and vow he would make a wonderful edition to Coachella 2013. Saw him during the Friend or Foe tour way back when and can honestly say (even as he pushes 60) he hasn't missed a beat. He rocked a packed, adoring house for two hours with a raw energy most younger bands could only dream to match. His backup band (still with two drummers!) were young, hot and oh so talented and his backup singer is the sexiest since Anna Ross. He engaged the audience like the consummate showman he is and has a new album dropping in January. I will be saying my nightly prayers GoldenVoice is wise enough to book him. Ant music for Sex People. Haters be damned.

Perhaps this could be hosted by a reappearance by John Waters.

If I weren't kind and adoring, how would that be? Very boring ...
