Looks like Fleetwood Mac to tour in 2013. Could be a Friday night headliner? Just a thought.

I unfortunately agree with this. Fleetwood Mac is and will always be one of my favorite bands, but they're such a casino act now. Their voices and stage presence are hardly worth a $60 ticket anymore. I would miss at least %90 of their set if they played, guaranteed. Don't see it happening. I'd rather remember them for the records they put out.

When's the last time you saw them? Honest question. I saw them about three years ago and they were phenomenal.

I saw them 3 years ago as well. I dunno, it was pretty good but I wouldn't say phenomenal. Not Coachella phenomenal at least. Maybe I'm being too critical. 2012 WAS my first year. I guess I just couldn't think of an act they would replace effectively.

I like Fleetwood Mac, but if we are going to have a classic rock headliner in 2013 I would prefer The Stones or Neil Young.

The new Neil Young and Crazy Horse kicks ass. That would be awesome, and totally plausible too.

I don't think they are the greatest fit for Coachella, I just disagreed that they are bad live. I think they all sounded fantastic.

Yeah, they can't touch the likes of Coachella headliners like Jack Johnson :P

I'd love to see them on the festival circuit in 2013, and I'd take them headlining over a lot of the serious suggestions and possibilities brought up on the board.

They would be the first to do the US Festival-Coachella headlining double.

I'm a big fan and last saw them a few years ago. There was no Christine and Lindsey sounded good (though when he changed up "never going back again" the wife was heard to complain - "that song was just fine as it was.") Stevie, however, has clearly lost a lot off of her fastball. She clearly can't hit the high notes in "Rhiannon" and sings a quasi-harmony part for "Dreams" that is barely recognizable. That said, it would take a pretty big conflict to miss this out under the stars on the polo fields, but I don't think it's happening. I suspect they can make more dough with less hassle at the Hollywood Bowl or Staples.

They would be the first to do the US Festival-Coachella headlining double.

Mick Jones and Paul Simonen headlined both if you consider them members of the Gorillaz. Here's the other double acts.

Gang of Four
members of The Clash
Willie Nelson/Merle and several other country acts that have done USF and Stagecoach/Chella.

I'm surprised how little corssover they have considering how many acts are still around and perform at a high level.

I was just going with headliners, but any time we can get the US Festival in a thread is good by me.

It would take a few holograms, but the lineup from the first day of US1 would not suck:

Gang of Four
The Ramones
The English Beat
Oingo Boingo
The B-52's
Talking Heads
The Police

bowl of skim milk on granola pausing to look up smiling directly at the early morning sunlight shown through your kitchen window. Tons of pubic hair, and most likely unshaven legs for many days possibly even years, under a flowery dress music. Not endorsed.

I think that's old news, they were supposed to tour in 2012 but plans were axed due to her album/touring commitments (as well as Lindsey who has been on a very lengthy intimate solo tour himself). Now they're saying 2013.

Really great show. They played for 2.5 hours and really owned the whole night. I don't see them as coachella headliners (or playing the festival at all really), but if you're a fan and have a chance to see them on this tour, do it.

Saw them last time out and they owned it except that Stevie had a glazed drugged-up look all night. She still hit all the notes.

We were 2nd row on the floor and Mick Fleetwood looked like he was going to cardiac arrest more than a few times during the > 2 hr set.

Buckingham carried the day, as expected.

Wow, that's great news! Disappointed she wasn't with them at the Hollywood Bowl, figured if she made an appearance at any show, it would be that. Missed some of her songs. Sly bastards, now I'll have to see them again.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't need to quote the video, again.

Saw them last June and the 2.5 hour show was indeed amazing. The whole band was very tight, with Lindsey and Mick laying down some pretty badass solos each. Christine McVie's voice and songs were well missed though. Now that she's back, I'll have to consider seeing them again if they come back to the San Diego/LA area...
