Okay, I know this isn't happening; way too camp. But, still... she played Glastonbury just a couple of summers ago and now, in her mid 70s, she still can sing those huge Bond themes as though it's still 1964. I've never heard anyone preserve their voice like that -- she must live like a nun. I mean, God bless Aretha Franklin, but there is no way she can sing the way she did in the 60s. Or even the way she did in the 80s, for that matter. Bassey, mean while, sang "Diamonds Are Forever" full on this weekend at the Diamond Jubilee. Maybe she can bring along Dizzee Rascal..
