Shadows set was one of the best I've seen from him

DJ Shadow was unreal. No shadowsphere , hejust destroyed with a man that was so locked in I got that feeling where the music just takes over your whole mind/body and you feel euphoric. Everything I wanted from something at edc but never got. I'm a Shadow fan for life now.

This was my second launch.However it has never been this large. This thing is moving in the right direction. The people behind it seem to be very passionate on doing this right and I had a great time. hometown heros !!! into grouplove was fantastic. Then Joy Formidable into Shadow. Throw in some fashion shows + chromeo, a good amount of vendors, decent art stuff, it felt like a micro lolla with the park/city atmosphere.

good job launch ! Had to be daunting throwing this for the first time but the turnout looked strong.
I was glad to see the bands put in passionate performances. Seemed like everyone wanted to be there.

I've seen Bassnectar about 8 times. My favorite performance was in Sac because the crowd was so awesome and everyone was dancing. Kudos to Sac for getting more performers there.
