I am planning on ordering tickets tomorrow for Morrissey when the go on sale. Just found out that they are $40. I am assuming that it will be well worth the money. Just wanted to hear any reviews from anyone who has seen him play. Does he do much of The Smiths stuff or mostly solo stuff? I love the Smiths. Thanks for any info. :-)

He does a good job of splitting up material. Of course its a bit new material heavy since he hasnt properly tour the u.s. for it. But peopel are thinking this might be a "greatest hits" tour as the password hinted. He is an awesome performer so its well worth the money. Here is the set he played when I saw him in L.A. in Feb.

How Soon Is Now?
You Have Killed Me
In The Future When All's Well
Disappointed
Ganglord
Let Me Kiss You
Girlfriend In A Coma
Irish Blood, English Heart
The Youngest Was The Most Loved
Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice
Panic
The National Front Disco
I'll See You In Far Off Places
Dear God Please Help Me
I've Change My Plea To Guilty
I Just Want To See The Boy Happy
Life Is A Pigsty
Everyday Is Like Sunday
Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want
First Of The Gang To Die

I saw him in 2004, which must have been the best tour ever. He played "How Soon Is Now?", "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out", AND "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me", all three of my favorites.

And $40 is a bargain! No matter what he plays! Go!

Yeah thats a bargain, I paid $153 for ONE ticket for the Hollywood Bowl yesterday, and I am not even all the way in the front. I got floor for Vegas though and that was only $76 luckily.

Anyone wanna carpool to San Diego? That show would be infinitely better because tickets are actually affordable and the venue is much smaller. Not a bad spot, really.

Maybe, I am possibly going. But I have to drive back from Berkeley after 2 nights of Arcade Fire to SD so that is what is keeping me on the fence regarding it. Yeah Embacadero is awesome to see a concert for sure.

I might wait until the last minute for tickets. I doubt it's sold out here In Phoenix unless the Californians invade.

I got GA for Vegas! I'm so stoked. This will probably be around my 15th time seeing him since 1991. He's been working in around 4 Smiths songs in his setlist since the late 90s. I wish he's play "Handsome Devil."

I got some super close tickets, right to the left of the stage on a colliseum-esque seating on the third row of seats in El Paso. Got em' in the presale.

There's one thing about concerts that I hate and it's going alone. I want togo see Morrissey, but half of my friends cant afford it and the other half dont want to go. =/

They still on sale for the SD show?

Yeah, its far from selling out and $45 a ticket is cheap ok? Tickets for Ventura are 89.50 BEFORE charges and have not sold out. That venue only holds 1200 people too. The Hollywood Bowl ranges from $135,$85,$65 and $35 for tickets. So if that small show cant sell out fast SD wont for a while since its quite a bit of people. Vegas is the only one to sell out so far.

Let's just say my Smiths friends (all 2 of them) aren't in a financially-flexible situation...

You gonna go to the SD show, supes?

Maybe, I would have to drive from Berkeley after Arcade Fire to SD if I decided to do so. I have floor for Vegas and pool tickets for L.A. so I wouldnt be too dissapointed missing the SD show.
