I live in Chicago. As long as you have easy access to the train from your hotel, you'll be fine. It's about a 10-15 walk from the stop to the gate.

It's doable, I would not call it a good idea. It's a long train ride from ORD to Lolla. A looooong train ride.

So you have to leave at least an hour before the time you want to get there at.
