update for 2013, I can't find any info about the live stream anywhere. I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out Friday morning of weekend 2 and that would be a damn good excuse to watch the whole festival from my bed

Don't think there's a weekend 2 stream.

They'll be replaying the W1 stream.

If I had known that last year, I would have definitely recorded weekend 2, but I thought eh its fucking hot and I'm sure these sets are all on Youtube anyway....not making that mistake again.

That's what they should do. I can only imagine there is some sort of copyright problems/licensing fees issue for why they didn't show it W2 last year.

Pirates better be on their game and capture all the W1 goodness if that's the case this year.

I just don't get it, they could make so much money by streaming it in high def and charging $10 per artist or $25 per day or $50 per weekend..$75 for both weekends....something like that....I know I would pay $10 to see 45 minutes of live music from at least 7 of the bands that are playing the fest.

They could make as much (probably more) on the streaming as they do on regular ticket sales.

I just do not get it.

You would pay $10 to watch a band online? You are aware that you can watch any of their live sets at other venues for free?

I wouldn't pay, but a live feed would be awesome.

Stagecoach will be broadcast live on cable TV. It would be great to watch Coachella on TV, but it only allows one stage at a time and it's on AXS channel (which is part of the AEG family). Time Warner does not broadcast AXS. It used to be called HDNet.

I know you said you and the hubby aren't super tech savvy, but the dimeadozen torrent site has pretty much every stream from weekend one. Watched Grinderman and Major Lazer earlier this week. Have OMD and Janelle Monae on tap. Maybe get Jeff to help you out? :) Or I suppose you could PM me and I'll email you the links.
