I'm genuinely intrigued by "Politically Friendly use of Feathers" and would like to know more.

You still haven't explained what constitutes politically friendly. Your link is about politically insensitive. 'Clarity' is meant to be ironic, isn't it?

Why hello again Tom. The link itself is self-explanatory as to what is politically insensitive, yes. So politically friendly feathers would qualify as anything that doesn't constitute a tribal head-dress or native american motif. So that leaves it to each their own interpretation of feather usage.
P.S. Not ironic at all. Ask and ye shall receive clarification. Boo-yah!

Have you considered the impact on the environment? Do you really want to encourage people to feed money into the miltary-industrial-bird feather complex?

It is too hot to wear costumes.
Guys wear - Tank tops and board shorts
Girls wear - Bikinis

As a fly fisherman and bird lover.

Please stop growing and killing birds for fashion.

Superfly fisherman! You are absolutely right, Goatchella. Lemme just end the lease on my bird farm and release all this-here fowl into the wild. Utilizing feathers for fashion purposes is eco and earth friendly, that is to say: if the birds are raised in a decent environment and the acquisition of the feathers are humane.

So, following up on point: body paint and minimalist/ desert-friendly clothing is a yes. Earth-friendly non-politically-offensive feathers is a maybe...

My group decided we MUST do all neon this friday. That's not too douchy or is it? Or maybe it's played out already because I thought neon was a Kanye thing...

There was a big group of really drunk frat looking guys in neon tanks last weekend. I'd stay away from the neon. But then again, I don't think they ever left the beer garden so you may be safe.
