Macy Gray's new record dropped today.
She could definitely help out this year's week lineup.

MAcy Gray is weak if thats what your trying to say , fiona apple would be way better ad. plus the lineup is not so bad ,but they're are going to be adding about 15 new acts , so it soon will be complete and we will all be in love wiht it.

I'd go Carnage on the Green Goblin to get Fiona Apple to show.

I'd help. Although fiona's a little unstable, she might go carnage on him herself for no reason.

fiona apple sucks, I saw her open for coldplay and she sucked live

fiona does not suck.
the few performances i have seen have been incendiary.
vocals cutting (in a good way) and piano playing and sound were top notch.

Sorry.

That was a diss all by itself.

But on the other hand, I would check out a Cher set.

i'm sorry, the 'turn back time' video has scarred me (and probably her son, too) for life.

Well, I think Macy Gray would fit the Coachella vibe perfectly.
Don't be surprised to see her on the lineup in the next week or so.

Good Charlotte may pop up too...

cher was actually pretty fun.
saw her in bakersfield (second time around with the village people).

i did this thing with sony that involved listening to good charlotte songs (without revealing who the artist is before-hand) and grading them while giving feedback that would help market the band.
i hated myself for having been put through that.

Fionna is absolutely amazing in an intimate setting. I can't imagine that her type of sound would come across very well in an opening/arena type setting. I saw her ina very old acoustically balanced theatre. It was one of the best shows I've ever witnessed.:2c :thu

That's all well and good, but I never mentioned Fiona Apple.
This thread is about the pending addition of Macy Gray and quite possibly Good charlotte.

meh why macy gray? that's so random. Why not Jill Scott? she was touring with the Roots and Lupe Fiasco it makes more sense.

I actually don't find the Macy Gray rumor that crazy.

Coachella has been moving toward the mainstream more and more every year. Macy Gray isn't quite popular enough to ruin ticket sales for the indie fans, but certainly known enough to attract some new comers to the fest.

That's what I think.

There is a 16.82% probablility that Macy Grey will perform.

There is a 1.47% probability that Good Charlotte will perform.

If Good Charlotte DOES perform, there is a 56.7% chance that local produce vendors will experience higher than normal sales for the day.

Macy Gray is not talented, in any shape or form. She is horrible, and acts so rediculous, I even feel a little bit embaressed.

She isn't even cool by mainstream standards.

I haven't heard anyone say anything about Macy Gray since that first album. Seriously. She's off the radar now, sounding like Janis Joplin gargling asphalt didn't have any staying power.

I don't know, but Double Mint has been right in years past about add-ons so I wouldn't rule this one out...
I guess we'll see...
