I am addicted to Prison Break. I need to get home from work to watch S02E21 :)

I have never watched more than an hour of Lost, and have no idea what is going on. I watched bits of the pilot, and watched a few mins last week and there were boats and other people in it, wtf?

Am I missing out, is it worth becoming a recluse and catching up with Lost?

i'm under the impression that lost is just one giant social experiment to see what causes ratings to rise and fall. i don't think there's ever been a point to the show.

at the end, everyone is going to turn to the camera and go, "haha!"

they're both losing me...prison break was so much better when they were actually in prison, lost was so much better when there wasn't so many goddamn people with backstories that don't answer a whole lot and only beg more questions....But I still enjoy both shows.

Prison Break beats lost.
I don't understand it, I've never got into it..
It all seems a little far-fetched storyline wise.

I am a devoted fan of both shows, but "Lost" is definitely my favorite. But to truly enjoy the show, you need to have a little patience. It takes a long time for quesitons to be answered, and once they are, more questions come up. Watch in on DVD. Once you get through the first few episodes, you will become addicted.

It'll take a while to catch up with 'Lost,' but it might be worth it if you have the time.

Ranked in order of greatness.

1. Lost - Complicated, but oh so worth it. Camping out in front of Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD will make you a very happy person. Nearly all my friends and family are stupidly hooked. This is the best show on TV.

2. Heroes - Nearly as good as Lost, and better in some respects. I only prefer Lost due to the whole "big mystery" scope of the storytelling. Heroes is more personal and less frustrating, it feels like watching the best comic book movie ever - because they have so much time to develop the awesome characters.

3. Prison Break - Not actually number 3 on my list of best shows, only of best serials. Prison Break had an awesome season one, watching that on DVD was fantastic. They kind of jumped the shark season two though, as not being in prison just meant it was all a successive series of events where they would almost get caught. It's still a very good show, just now it's nowhere near as dramatically dynamic and complex or anywhere near as addictive as the other two.

On a side note - I keep hearing that Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield in PB) is closeted gay. Anyone else not see that coming?

Prison Break "lost" me (hahahahaha) after the first season. I got bored really quick. I mean, how goddamn hard is it to cross the border into Mexico and disappear?

Lost is one of my "can't miss" shows...but IMHO, the best serial series is 24.

Wheres the beef?

Yeah...I hear they had to scrap this upcoming season's idea and totally rewrite it or they were gonna get in lots o' trouble.

as many people on here already know i am head over heels in love with Lost. favorite tv show of all time (cause i never really liked tv that much). you are actually in a very fortunate position, because if you wait til december, you have the option to watch all three seasons all the way through without commercials and huge months-long breaks in between episodes. i started watching lost halfway through season 2, and i am so much bigger of a fan because i was able to watch season 1 all the way through really fast. i rememebr a lot more minor details that way, which make the show SO much better. if you were able to watch seasons 1-3 just sitting at home over a few weeks or whatever, you would be undeniably hooked for good. it's amazing.

heroes, i love heroes, but it doesn't hold a candle to lost. heroes is like instant gratification lost. its like my dessert, while lost is my whole appetizer and entree. god that was a terrible analogy.
