in what sense?

are you worried your car will become dirty? it will.
are you worried someone will do something or something will happen to your car? there's no more or less a guarantee than if you left it at home or any other parking lot.
will it get stolen? probably not, but it also may get stolen if you take a different car and leave the new one at home.

there's really nothing going on in car camping that is specifically a problem for new cars.

I'm just scared of people damaging it, or random drunk people fucking with it or something. you know?

I planned on taking a car cover and having it covered anyways to protect it to an extent.

in 6 years of going nobody has ever messed with my car (or whatever car i went in). sometimes people draw dicks and stuff on really dusty ones, but that was more when it was tent-only camping and the cars were sitting in another lot.

nothing is going to happen to your car that can't be fixed with a hose on monday.

i should say that last year(maybe it was 2010) there was a particularly bad wind gust on sunday and it sent an umbrella or part of a canopy through somebody's windshield. but that's not really related to coachella itself and could happen anywhere.

Awesome, thank you! Sounds like I shouldn't have a problem then!

Just make sure your car alarm is always on and you'll be fine.

The worst thing that ever happened to my car was that someone wrote "CUNT" on it with permanent marker in 2010.
No biggy.

I was going to take my Bentley. I hope it's safe.

I think the only worry is wether it is comfortable for you getting there and space wise. As Mugwog pointed out, you will b driving over some fields, but it's not really what I consider "rough" terrain. Maybe I wouldn't being a Bugatti, but most normal "luxury" cars (Acura, Mercedes, BMW, etc) should be find. If you're bringing a car cover, sounds like it would be safe.
