No, not yet. They've only played 2 west coast dates, ever. Hope and pray for more. Slint is a powerhouse.

They're good. Slint live is a whole other dimension. They melt your mind and leave you begging for more.

so this is not going to be the second secret pitchfork show then? i had heard at first that it was slint or lcd soundsystem doing 45'33.

Thats what I heard but did'nt believe.I guess they are playing those N.Y. shows so.....who knowes.

45'33 aint exactly a classic...it hasn't even been a year

no i know. i didn't say i agreed with it. i just said it's what i heard.

slint would be awesome to see live though. in any capacity.

as i sat on the ticketweb page...i thought...do i really like Slint that much?
I listened to Spiderland last night and yes it's good and yes it has it's place and sure they pretty much invented "post-rock." But to be honest, I'd rather see Mogwai or EITS. Spiderland was inventive, but for me it's just not standing up to the test of time. And it's not worth $40 for me
