So psyched for this show. I've been checking the setlists and they seem great to me. I think by the time we hear them, they should sound even more polished than they already do.

I know a bunch of people here are going.

I got lucky with 4 ga tickets from waste. Just booked the limo!

I will be in attendance with CCF.

We've also got GA Floor tickets. This will be my first time seeing Radiohead indoors since the Ok Computer tour stop at the Warfield. The current stage design is going to look pretty bad ass in the Shark Tank.

Is anyone else headed to the Santa Barbara Bowl the next day? If so, I have room for 2 in my car.

I had no luck with tickets. One reason I wish I had a desk job, but luckily my friend got seats and got extras for me. Bay area shows are always the best. I have 3 chances to see Kid A performed. I think I'm gonna cry...

Was online from 6 - 10 refreshing the WASTE site just to get presale tickets to this show. The 4 hours was worth it, scored two floor seats!

Just saw them in Tampa and they blew me away (as usual). I'm excited to catch them from the floor and glad they switch up the setlist every night.

Does anyone else find it odd that new jersey has 3 shows and the bay area only has 1? Me thinks they have something special planned for us : )

I really hope that you are right and they will be coming back through for OSL, because I'm contemplating buying some tickets in NJ or Washington so that I can see them more than once this tour. And I really don't want to do that.

I just don't see them coming through the states again in August since they will be here from March through June. I hope that I'm wrong.

They don't have anything announced for August and coming back to the west coast after Japan seems very logical since they won't be going to austrailia till November. They did a similar thing for bonnaroo as far as announcing shows. Even if they are playing in here April, I'm sure another planet wouldn't mind having them back here in August.

oh man, on their soundcheck setlist they are practicing treefingers, subterranean homesick alien, the tourist, morning bell, go to sleep, jigsaw, and a new track called ful stop. i think we are in for a nice treat for the next leg of the tour.

Really? Aren't they mostly comprised of the last two albums? I guess I'm interested to hear (most of) the KoL stuff, but I'm pretty much done with the In Rainbows material. They played that to death those two years around its release. What are the older songs they are playing most consistently?

(out of only 10 shows) Pretty good mix of old and new stuff... I agree that they're playing too much IR, but I love the old stuff they're playing. I want more of The Bends, only Street Spirit made an appearance.

Honestly, I was expecting them to play all of KoL (8 songs) and almost all of IR (8 or 9 songs) plus Daily Mail and Staircase, so that would be most of the set. But they are only really playing 4 to 5 IR songs each night and not doing all of KoL. So that has opened up the set lists for some new songs and some older ones that I wasn't expecting. I'm actually surprised they aren't doing as many HTTT songs since that record seems to fit more with KoL.

The KC set list is what I would love to see in San Jose if they could find a spot to add Karma Police or switch out Paranoid Android for KP, I would be good to go. That first encore is insane.

Setlist
01 Bloom
02 15 Step
03 Morning Mr Magpie
04 Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
05 All I Need
06 Pyramid Song
07 The Daily Mail
08 Supercollider (tour debut)
09 Nude
10 Identikit (with false start)
11 Lotus Flower
12 There There
13 Feral
14 How To Disappear Completely (tour debut)
15 Reckoner

16 Separator
17 Myxomatosis
18 Idioteque
19 Lucky
20 Everything In Its Right Place

21 Give Up The Ghost
22 Paranoid Android

My friend & I managed to get Floor tix from Waste when they released some extras last week, so we each have single seats to sell.

Mine is Sec 211 Row 8, the other is Sec 216. Both hard tickets, selling for face $85. I'm in Fremont, but my friend's in Sac, so prolly have to meet us at the show for that one. PM me if interested.

I'm sorry but no one outside of Santa Clara County knows that this place is called the Shark Tank.

03-21-2012, 07:13 AM
I grew up in the bay area and have gone to many shark games since I was a child. Definitly know this place as the shark tank, but with how the sharks are playing right now, it doesn't deserve that title. Plus people would just get confused and think that there was another radiohead show haha

Please play any/all of these tonite, fellas.

No Surprises (this one is all I need to make me a happy camper. They could play Fitter Happier the rest of the night for all I care...if I get this!)
Spinning Plates
High and Dry
Bulletproof (with Jonnie G playing the bow...or just Thom playing it acoustic!)
There There (with Thom adding percussion)
A Punchup at a Wedding
Lucky
Packt Like Sardines...Tin Box (this is so fucking good live!)

I know many/most of these are rather mellow jams, but they take on an entirely different life on stage due to Jonnie Greenwood's creative brilliance.

It seems like for every show, Radiohead has started at 8:45 but not sure on the opener. Probably 7:15 for Other lives.

Drew, I'm almost positive we will get a There There as they have played it at every show this tour. Don't think we will be getting any of the others though. Maybe Packt since they played that in Arizona. But since they just played Lucky in Seattle, I would say that one is unlikely. I don't think any of the other songs were played in the first leg of the tour, but I haven't double checked all the set lists. Here is the list of songs they have played on the US tour http://www.ateaseweb.com/radiohead-tour-dates-2012/radiohead-2012-tour-songs/

Figure that anything with an 11 is a given for tonight since they played it at every other date.

From that list of songs, I would really like a You and whose army, Myxo, EIIRP, and Karma Police. Lucky would have been great but I don't think they would play it back to back.

Well, I'm here at the Shark Tank with about a hundred other people :D

You pick your WASTE tickets up at the Will Call windows. Only the person who purchased the tickets needs to be present.

Paperless ticket holders enter via the main entrance and the entire party must enter together.

The line for Floor ticket holders is to the left of the Main Entrance. The line has about 50 people.

There's a merch booth out front selling a SJ show specific shirt for $45 and generic RH girls and guys T's for $40 and a generic poster for like $25.

Entry into the Venue begins at 6:15.
