Planning on sleeping outside.....what bugs should i watch out for? Mosquitos? Ants? Etc :)

Watch out for the E Bugs...they are known to look like this and fly around at night.

I think the thing you should be worried about are the crazy swarms of fucking killer bees. I see them every year.

the only insects I've seen in the camping area are bees. keep your tent zipped!

i havnt encountered any bugs. its not like your camping out in the middle of the alaskan wilderness. your in the middle of a field in a highly developed part of california. the only bugs you will come in contact with are fruit flies from your neighbors rotting bananas that have been baking in the 100 degree sun for 3 days.

Have seen fire ants one year, and way back in 2004 there was some weird issue with white grasshoppers but I don't recall ever seeing them since. Bug problems are seriously minimal.

This is probably the first time anyone, EVER has called Indio, well developed.

Bees are the only thing we have seen at Coachella and maybe a fly or two.

ive never seen any bugs not even bee's and i car camp..years in a row
i did see lots of frogs or toads last year
lots of them, jumping around on peoples camp sites in the night time only

In 2010 when I was in tent camping, I couldnt really chill outside my tent due to the fire ants that were lying in wait to attack.
