I really wish Bjork would do larger US tours so I could see her more than at Coachella, but at least I've got that. If only the Red Rocks date was on a weekend!

i'm seeing her three times for sure; coachella, sasquatch, and then roskilde. I might make the two hour drive to the vancouver show depending on prices and seating etc.

umm no. the artists at the hollywood bowl "last time around" were belle and sebastian and the shins, although realistically artists play there continually throughout the year, not just at their big july show every year with the philharmonic. also, this year is the decemberists. also, she's not playing in september at the bowl. Bjork dates as well as the complete schedule for the hollywood bowl can be found on the internet with minimal research.

Bjork at the bowl was AMAZING she had fireworks and everything!

Now, Bjork coachella 2002 complete nightmare. That was the year they didn't have enough security for the crowd and people were litterally clawing and crawling there way out of the crowd, I myself had to get pulled out and taken to the emergency tent. Everyone around me were crying for help, it was really scary. Can't wait to see her again this year but I am going to keep my distance from the stage.

bjork pours her heart and soul out with every note. i've seen her twice; last time was at a small baseball field in coney isl a few years back and it was truly magical. i hope that those that haven't seen her live or have limited exposure to her music will give her performance a chance. bjork really is one of a few living legends in our time....and no disrespect to the thousands of artists out there, but she has always had the courage to forge a path all her own and reinvent herself with each album. you can't say that about any of those cookie cutter bands, djs, mcs, pop acts, etc out there....

come see for yourself....

TeamCoachellaHellYeah
03-22-2007, 12:08 PM
Expect the unexpected. Expect something fucking epic! Believe me I have seen her twice and her performances are fantastic! whether or not you like the music.

Expect me to levitate 15 feet above the crowd during her set after which my bladder will explode. Bring a towel!

Try going to the very front, but on the side. That usually works for penetrating large crowds, but idk about penetrating obsessive Bjork Fans. (pun intended)

You're probably right. I was planning on staying far away from the stage until I heard about her elaborate stage production. I wanna see that.

We will be the first people to hear and see the stuff from her new album. I am expecting to be blown away by her performance, but I will be compacted by the crowd so I wont go far.

HA!!!! I have been to many shows in my life and been in crazy pits but honestly, bjork at Coachella was BY FAR the worst, partly Coachellas fault for not having enough security that year but I swear hard core Bjork fans are nuts. If you are going to try be be close to the stage remember two things........
#1 Closed toe shoes!!!!!!!
#2 Bring at least two bottles of water with you when you go to your spot cause you are going to be stuck in a crowd for a long period of time.

Good luck!

Anybody saying Kid Rock has no talent has most likely never seen him in concert. I saw him open for Aerosmith and he put on a great show.

What to expect from Bjork ? Weird costumes and weird songs. But hey, she's from Iceland and her main influences are songs of Sperm Whales and Elephant Seals.

I'm very disappointed with her as a headliner on Friday.

This talk of Bjork fans going crazy has me worried. I'm buying a ticket to her Chicago show to ensure that I get to see her in a controlled setting. That, and she's just the fucking bomb of course.

She didn't play earth intruders at the first show she just played... might not be playing it live? or maybe a debut at coachella... most of the old songs are supposed to be rekindled versions.

04. Aurora
05. Dull Fame Of Desire
06. All Is Full Of Love
07. Oceania

09. Vökuró
10. Army Of Me
11. Innocence
12. Bachelorette
13. Wanderlust

I think this was just a test run. I mean it is a whole new line up and maybe it was safer to work out the kinks of the new stuff. 16 songs does seem really short.
