Am I the only one who thinks they are kind of low on the list?

I mean, I understand that they aren't as big in the States as other places in the world...but it really doesn't make sense to have them so low and Arctic Monkeys so high.

yeah but I'm sure Placebo will be having the last laugh when they're closing out the second stage and Arctic Monkeys are playing in peak temperatures in the middle of the afternoon on the mainstage.

In L.A. - they got smart towards the end of the tour and started closing out the shows. But yeah, that was a bullshit tour.

Unless Arctic plays Outdoor Theatre early evening because they add something else on the Friday line up that will end up high on the bill. Look where Bloc Party ended up last year. This was due to Madonna needing silence but still...

I caught their SD show and it was great!! NO crappy SWR either. The last our only had a handful of dates. They will be doing a full North American tour in the spring in addition to Coachella. I do agree they should be up higher on the line up! But as stated above the placement on the bill does not necessarily determine their placement on the schedule

Yeah, I'm serious. I don't know... I saw them live last summer too, at a music festival in Belgium. They came on before Daft Punk on the main stage. I had really liked them beforehand, but I hated them live. The people around me were obnoxious and Brian Molko's voice sounded terrible and later on, the guitarist came down to the VIP area (which was next to the rails) and was being an asshole to everyone there. It just wasn't a good experience. Daft Punk, however, were amazing.

I feel this way too. I loved all their studio work from the first album on down. I saw them live for the first time last summer and I was not impressed. My wife thought it was the best thing she'd ever seen though.

This was due to Madonna needing silence but still...

Quit smoking crack. Mogwai, on of the loudest bands around, played during Madonna. Not only did she "need" silence, there was no way they would have given it to her even if she asked.

This is my 16yr old daughters favorite band so we went to see them when they toured w/ SWR - I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed their show & am looking forward to seeing them at Coachella. SWR sucked though, which was kind nice cause we left early. (work & school night! :p)

The only act I worry about being drowned out is the comedians of comedy.
