They should wheel out a bed with lots of black coffee stains on it. They can get that "free coffee" from Trader Joes.

Unfortunately, they will suck really bad.

I still do on CD, but not live now. I seen them on PBS a couple of weeks ago. Really bad.

I try not to judge other people's preference in bands but let's be realistic - these guys can't sell out a show at the Roxy. They're not artistically interesting, they're hipsterically interesting... if at all.

Their last album (2010) was a complete and utter failure, and this is just an attempt to find another Devo or Duran Duran... without the mainstream appeal. Here's to hoping for a really awesome conflict that keeps most folks away.

Also, if I have to hear that stupid "Tempted" song, it will ruin my day.

I just wanna har Cool for Cats

Cool for Cats was the Rock Band song I most dreaded playing.

Well, maybe not most, but it was not a good time. I had hoped they would at least have an interesting show, but the internet says otherwise. Couldn't they have brought back Gary Numan instead? There were plenty of mofos that wanted to see him when he got Volcanoed out of the show.

Yeah, just stay in the fucking Sahara tent then. Who doesn't love Black Coffee in Bed? And they are not the most WTF late 80's/early90's billing. James (Sit Down, Laid) are playing Friday.

I saw them live about 20 years ago, and they were fucking awesome. But that WAS 20 years ago. I hope they're still good. :)

I hope so, but I don't count on it. Maybe what works for Squeeze is that Goldenvoice has some faith in them. They usually have a solid talent booking department.

Stop being such a buzz kill

Okay, I'll knock it off. I enjoyed the return of Devo and Duran Duran, but this doesn't scratch the same itch. For me, this is more like Love and Rockets at Lollapalooza a couple years ago, which felt forced and most people were just bored. I was hoping too hard for Gary Numan and took it out on Squeeze. Bad poster.

If they're as good as that 2010 performance, I'll be very happy.
