Was hoping they would be there last year, but this year is it. So awesome live.

Agreed. They opened for the Flaming Lips last time I saw them and they were phenomenal. That chick is the most badass front-woman in music today.

Yep, great live act. So, who are they going to open for up here, Chris?

Yeah didnt he produce the album? Or play on it.

They are incredible live. They gave QOTSA a run for their money in Santa Cruz.

It will be a busy weekend for Omar Rodriguez Lopez who in addition to playing bass in Le Butcherettes will also be playing the first At The Drive In shows in 11 years!

So stoked to see this band as well, they remind me of the early Yeah Yeah Yeahs' EPs when they were rock n' roll. Here is a recent video from a stripped down acoustic NPR Session and she absolutely Helen Killers it!

Who got to see them?? I freakin loved their set! The lead singer was a ton of fun to watch. She seems a little weird and crazy but that's what makes it awesome. Check em out for weekend 2!!

Absolutely fantastic set. Not a lot of people there with Band of Skulls and Metronomy at the same time but I am so happy I chose her. She was excellent. The sound kicked ass and her crazy antics just added even more to the whole show. Definitely a must see for people coming to the second weekend.

Definitely the act that surprised me the most. I listened to the album a couple times and heard they were good live, but I was blown away. One of my favorites of the weekend.

This set reached into the depths of my soul and moved me like I hadn't been moved in a long time. The drummer is INCREDIBLE, Omar was somber in the background, and Terri fucking wailed. Soooooo good, not to be missed!!!!!!

I knew nothing about them going in, but they ended up one of the best acts I saw all weekend. That lead singer - who sort of looks like Fairuza Balk - has this look of "I'm gonna kill you and then drink your blood."

Awesome set. At the conclusion of the set, she ran off stage and into the area between the Gobi and Mojave, followed by about 50 fans. She stood out there surrounded by people, posing for photos for 10-15 minutes. Haven't seen many artists interact with the fans like that.

Me too - she is a phenomenal frontwoman.

Yeah the Band of Skulls/Metronomy/Butcherettes/First Aid Kit cluster was a killer for me, but got to see a good portion of this set and all of my favorite songs from them. Teri definitely has crazy energy and voice sounded great. Girl rock FTW.
