I say why not. I love Marvin Gaye. I'm listening to his LETS GET IT ON album and thinking Coachella could use a bit of soul music. Willie Nelson is in it this year playing country, why not Marvin? play soul music. not country

Would you see Marvin Gaye at coachella if he was still alive?

Willie Nelson is alive. Marvin Gaye is dead. that means Willie is a better booking.

I really wonder why Willie is playing though. Maybe he negotiated a package deal. It's curious. not that I'm complaining.

They should get Al Green though.

Yes he would, cause Kroqken would say so and it would happen.

This was an old thread. If Willie Nelson can play Coachella, hen I suppose Marvin Gaye could too, complete with fans in California Raisins costumes.

I remember when Marvin gaye was shot by his father when I was 13. It was a special bulletin I heard on KFWB, a Los Angeles all news radio station. A quarter of a century later, Gaye is gone still but KFWB remains the same format, an all news station, and better than its rival KNX.

I remember when I lost my first tooth.

I was playing basket ball, but on rollerblades. Out it popped. I was 6 or 7. It hurt at the time, but looking back, it was a good idea. Many more teeth followed over the next few years.

Did you get braces with your "adult" teeth? I did and I hated having to wear a neck gear at night. It was a pain in the ass, and made me look "fuggly".

Nobody ever gets braces on their "baby" teeth!! That's an insane notion. The point of baby teeth is that they fall out. Hence, no corrections are necessary.

I was asking about your adult teeth? Sorry it was so unclear. How does this thread go from Marvin gaye to braces? Okay, I will make it relevent right now: Were braces invented when Marvin Gaye was a teenager and did he even need braces anyway? At least Gaye's teeth were better than Shane McGowan of the Pogues. His teeth were frightening.

That was the point. I was subtly playing around with how tangent-filled many of your posts have been so I decided to see how off-topic I could possibly take it until you noticed. YOU PAST THE TEST!

In response: getting braces in Marvin Gaye's day would have been a paaaaain.

True, plus Marvin Gaye's parents were not wealthy enough to afford braces when he was a young lad. By the way, it was Gaye's own father who shot his son, because he was mentally disturbed.
