American Horror Story

The show is about a family that is having some problems. The wife miscarried a baby and the husband was caught cheating, but they decide to pick up the pieces and move to California. They find a dream home for ridiculously cheap because the previous owners were found dead in there. A murder-suicide. It turns out-- the house has a longer history than that.

I love this show. The characters are weird and compelling. I'm interested in each death. It's creepy and it works. I doubted I would like it and then I barreled through the episodes and slept with the lights on.

If they were doing that, then they would also have to make the dialog more knowingly bad. As it is, they seem serious about everything to a fault, and nothing "scary" has happened so far. Fake downs syndrome was offensive, the stupid school shooting stuff was stupid, and they can't act.

I personally enjoy this show, I'm also all about the horror genre. The plot twists in this are very predictable. The acting is very melodramatic, but hey that's what TV is for. Suspension of disbelief mother fuckers.

Tate being a ghost kid was a pretty easy give away in the beginning episodes; now him being a school shooter. Well lets just say the writers didn't really want to hang around the office that day.... I'm interested to see how the demon baby comes.

Does anyone else find McDermmots reactions to the sexual advances funny? He's losing his mind with the redhead maid. The shot in the pilot episode (wide) with him being seduced by maid and his daughter walks in was classic. "Dad's gonna bone that old Bowie-eyed lady, totally gross."

I think it has something to do with life being created within the house. That's why Constance says they need another precious child. My favorite scene so far was the one that led you to believe that girl microwaved the dog. My favorite.episode was the home intruders recreating the murder.

If you die in the house your soul is trapped in the house. She was shot in the face by Constance when Constance's husband was caught in bed with her. Poor girl was trying to forgo his advances, too.

ANYWAY, the house plays tricks on people and it seems as though the people occupying the house can appear as they choose to appear. (Tate doesn't appear with hundreds of bullet holes. The gay couple doesnt appear bloodied or broken necked). Based on what she says, women see things differently than men and men are worthless pigs that do bad to women. She uses her beauty and sexuality to cause bad for them or to benefit her.

We haven't been this enthralled by a mystery since that whole Rubber Man debacle!

After we heard that some familiar faces may be back as new characters in an all new house, we've been dying to know who will (and won't) be returning to American Horror Story for season two.

The top of our list? Fan faves Jessica Lange and Evan Peters. But what does the wicked twosome have to say about it?

Well they're still playing pretty dang coy! And it's terribly frustrating if you're an AHS-aholic like we are.

So are the twosome willing to come back, should they be asked?

And it sounds like he'd be ready to put the horror in American Horror Story again, 'cause when we asked him if there was every a point in season one where Tate just went too far, Evan dead panned, "No. I was like more. Give me more. I want to kill more people. I want to do more bad stuff.

As for Jessica, who we're sure is at the top of Ryan's list as well? It sounds like she might just be willing to as well.

Yeah S1 had a very interesting first half that quickly devolved into "everyone dies". I was ready to quit S2 as soon as it got too silly but surprisingly I stayed the course.
