Yet another great show in front of a jam packed audience at the Rock N Roll Half Marathon in downtown LA. He wowed the massive crowd with many Poison and solo hits. I find Bret Michaels to be one of the most inspirational figures in rock music and it was worth it to get out of bed early to see him perform this early morning show.

I would have preferred a Poison show but he is a truly enigmatic performer regardless of who his backing band is.

Was anyone else there? Anyone else like Bret Michaels? Anyone else like Poison?

I like Poison when they wear makeup and dress like girls but they also have penises so they look really pretty and you get to play with their weiners too. Music is okay.

I only play with my own weiner.

But seriously, Bret Michaels keeps coming back from serious injury and illness against nearly insurmountable odds. There is a lot of look up to there.
