I am mentioned in the following linked article about refunding tickets for Sunset Junction. The actual tickets in the photograph were mine. http://echopark.patch.com/articles/sunset-junction-refunds-some-progress I also believe I did a good deed for going down to the Silver Lake Farmers Market and helping to break the logjam that was preventing anyone from getting a refund. If I did not get a refund that day, I was prepared to testify to the Los Angeles City Council during the "public comment" section, where I would have slammed the Sunset Junction Neighborhood Alliance, and would have been shown live and rebroadcast on Channel 35. I also might have picketed their farmers market. By the way, the farmers market had hardly anybody there on Tuesday night, maybe the community is still pissed off at the organizers. I hope all others owed a refund or payment, like bands, vendors, bookers and other ticket holders, get their refund ASAP.

I lost 5 pounds recently. I exercise a lot, mainly by walking. I do need to change my diet. My plan is to go on the "5/7 vegetarian diet" where I only eat meat 2 days a week. I also plan to switch from regular to a diet soda. Someone told me Coke Zero tastes like regular Coke.

The only problem is I am addicted to regular Pepsi, and addicted to burgers, so I would have to phase in those dietary plans gradually, not cold turkey. Dani likely remembers me in high school when I was a toothpick.

that whole article was about a bunch of bumbling unprofessional stooges and some guy who took 3 buses to get $20 back.

I used to run home from school to watch Sunset Junction when I was a kid.

The moral of the story is we should all be thankful we're not them.

The city of angels wont let these clowns throw the festival because they owe a buncha money and they always come up short.
Residents don't like it because it has become a mini coachella and they fenced off the neighborhood. The vibe is gone and LA is broke. The end.

saw Ken at the Ariel Pink set catastrophe. Not moving, not grooving...just there. Kinda nice, and bizarre, seeing people from the board at shows.

I did move my head to the music. How was that show a catastrophe? I thought they were amazing!

That dude on the right is Edwin Gomez, Michael McKinley's right hand man and the manager of the Silver Lake Farmers Market!

The last time I had alcohol was a free glass of champaign at the Echo last New Years eve!

As of Thursday, I quit drinking regular soda cold turkey. Only diet soda and Coca Cola Zero, so I hope the weight will now start to come off. I am also walking more than ever!

It is now October 21, 2011, and I STILL have not had any sugared or "regular" soda since September 1, 2011. I cannot believe I turned down a Pepsi Throwback the other day.
