According to Insomniac's twitter the first wave of artists will be announced at noon on the 27th...before they've made any mention of who's playing at Nocturnal 2011. My only theory is that they're trying to beat the competition on a lineup announcement for Halloween, but even then, nearly everyone is already aware of Monster Massive's lineup, which is actually shaping up to be not so terrible.

My friend also said there's a deal where you can get tickets to both nights of Nocturnal and a ticket to Escape from Wonderland for $125, not 100% sure on if that's true or not but I can totally see Insomniac doing something like that.

Don't know if its really been advertised heavily but right now at most of the ticket outlets they have a deal if you buy a Nocturnal weekend pass and escape from wonderland ticket they give you a bit of a discount. I think the total price for the package is $137, about $45 a ticket. Not bad.

Oak Canyon is a great venue but I think Monster Massive is going to be a cluster fuck there. It's a crowded venue with 10-15k there, Monster Massive typically has a 40K capacity so it all depends on how many tickets are sold. NOS is in San Bernardino and isn't as nice as Oak Canyon, but Insomniac has been throwing parties there for years and everything always runs smoothly and looks great when they have events there.

On another note, Pasquale said $179 plus fees on twitter for edc 3 day pass at escape. At first they made it sound like anyone that was with the cardholder could purchase a ticket on that persons card, but now it seems like they are doing 1 ticket per card. I apologize to anyone I had offered but I don't think its going to work out after all.

And another thing about the tickets, everyone in attendance at Escape will have the chance at buying an EDC ticket, not gonna be a limited quantity type thing. The ticket will be given to the purchaser right then and there, no mail or will call.

No, they actually did "magically" sell out all at the same time. Hard tickets no longer exist, they all feed off the same bank directly connected to flavor us website. Most ticket outlets should be willing to sell you any ticket that can be purchased on flavor, not just necessarily what they have listed on their board. They just load them on to a card.

Honestly I don't see how anyone slept on this one. This line up is monstrous. Heavy hitters in every genre. Not saying I'm a fan of every artist there but lots of big names. Monster getting canceled didn't help either.

Both main stages were crowded as fuck!

The techno stage was empty as fuck! But I didn't mind, lots of room for dancing. And everyone threw it down. I missed Heidi playing Eats Everything - entrance song :(

The visuals for that stage sucked. Wtf. It goes To show how much mainstream shit has gotten. At Beyond it was packed to the brim (techno stage). Not sure if there will be a techno stage anymore...? What're your guys thoughts.

looks pretty damn crowded to me. last night, the crowd wasn't even 1/4 the crowd at Beyond. it didnt get 1/4 capacity till like 12am last night.

I had a lot of fun. Insomniac did a good job with the Halloween decor. Techno stage was bangin all night long. The only good that came out of those tents was a place to smoke.

Look, all I'm stating is that it's really funny you put yourself on a pedestal above other who attend these awful hot-topic commercialization of a rave events when in reality, there's a whole scene of people out there who would think the same of your taste ;) that is all.
