Yay! Friend bought tickets. Can't wait. Let's see if they top their echoplex show

They must have really been trying to keep that pre-sale hush hush. It's rare to see an event listing that is blocked from appearing in search results.

How are they live, guys? I love their recorded stuff, but it doesn't seem to lend itself to a particularly lively... live show.

Saw them at Coachella last year. Third best set of the weekend after Fever Ray and Atoms for Peace. Lots of great live videos on youtube.

I have heard really good things! My friend Jen has seen them several times, including the most recent show at the Echoplex and said it was just fantastic.

I've only seen them at the echoplex but it was ridiculously amazing.. Yukimi (I think that's her name) is mesmerizing, their show is really unique, and its something you can really dance to. IMHO, much different live than on album in a good way.

Hello there -
You are receiving this email because you placed an order for the LITTLE

That's such crap. How many oversold are we talking? If it's less than 10 they could have sucked it up and had them sign 10 more.

Funny how it took them 30 hours to figure it out. Must be a shitty system if it let's you add something to your cart that has already been claimed. Or maybe somebody there wanted it for themself.

Little Dragon is amazing live! Much better than on CD. Saw them at Coachella 2010. Wish I lived in LA and could see them again!!!

Tonight's the night! Or if you're connected enough to get into the private showcase, you're probably already watching them with the wonders of an open bar.

Amoeba ended up sending me a gift certificate, so all is forgiven.

EDIT: Ticket has been claimed.

When Yukimi came into the crowd last night, she stopped directly in front of me and my girlfriend and danced with her for a solid minute. She was in love with my gal. Probably my favorite concert moment ever.

P.S. They were amazing as usual.

It's crazy. Natural History Museum, Echoplex, exclusive KCRW subscriber gig, JazzReggae Fest, invite-only Roxy showcase, proper Roxy show, and now Avalon. LA sure loves Little Dragon.

In case anyone missed it in the big thread, a second Avalon show has been added.
http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0900472292534712?artistid=1314677&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=201

And now it says "KCRW Presents" instead of HARD.

Isn't Avalon under 1000 as far as capacity goes? Little Dragon is playing at Terminal 5 which is 3000 cap venue and they never played anything bigger than Bowery/MHOW which is 550 cap. Will try to go see them again but same weekend as Creator's Project, I'm betting they'll add smaller NY show.

Avalon capacity is 1200. Wouldn't count on another New York show.
