The Tate Modern art museum currently has a program where they invite musicians to come and create a track in response to a piece of art from the collection. This track is the posted at a listening station next to the work of art in the museum, for visitors to hear. Currently up are tracks by Klaxons, The Landscapers, Union of Knives and The Real Tuesday Weld. It's a really neat program, and worth checking out if you're in the London area.

I liked Morocco. I don't know if I'd want to live there, because it's somewhat weird being a woman because the culture is all conservative, and because there's a definite lack of alcohol. But it was a kick ass trip. I visited a couple of the imperial cities and the Atlas Mountains. I was also supposed to go to Casablanca, but there was a terrorist bombing thing so I had to cancel that leg of the trip. I want go back to visit the south of the country, especially Essaouira. It's supposed to be a great beach resort town with surfing and beaches and amazing seafood.

I was there for fun and to visit an old friend. I had be in London for work, and now there are all these super cheap (like, $40) Easyjet and Ryanair flights from London to Marrakech and Fes, so I took advantage. But I could only stay for a week, which wasn't long enough.

Dude I was there too! With Bmack. I can't believe how good Ben Gibbard is solo. I love DCFC and I love his solo stuff and I love Postal Service but I still wouldn't consider myself a HUGE fan.
