Coachella 2012 - Dates?

So, I know they release this info in August'ish, but since my poor planning didn't allow for me to go this year, I would certainly be an idiot not to plan well in advance for the next Coachella. I've been four times, but not since 2006.

My question is, when will Coachella 2012 be? When I went from 2002-2006, the dates were always the last weekend of April. Then Stagecoach happened and the dates changed. So is it safe to still assume that Coachella will be the second or third weekend in April?

2007:April 27-29
2008: April 25-27
2009: April 17-19
2010:April 16–18
2011: April 15-17

Yea weird change but we can PREDICT it will be the 2nd or 3rd weekend of April.

So perhaps April 13-15 or April 20-22 :D

The dates are usually released around September.

Well most of the hotels that I checked today doubled their rates for weekend of April 13-15 so they probably know something

The hotel I stayed at this year isn't even taking reservations for either April 13-15 or April 20-22... Guess they are waiting to see which one it is.

Just booked a room at the Renassaince Palm Springs for $179/night. Booked for both April 13-16 and April 20-23... You can cancel your reservations up until 4pm on the day of check in.

I stayed at the Best Western Palm Desert and they are charging 279 for the weekend of the 13-15th which is twice what I paid last year.
I booked at The Holiday Inn in Palm Desert for 130 a night and I can cancel up till the day before check in
