I thought he had a great performance, definitely has a stage presence. The Young Snoop comparisons are warranted. You could hear his bass at the Sahara apparently.

Wiz definitely owned the stage for sure

I walked by. Audience seemed almost completely non-responsive (probably too stoned). Then he started singing "Roll Up" and I ran as far away as possible.

I really liked it until I noticed you could barely hear him over the backtrack.

I thought he was weak.

Went just how I thought. Early on was hype with the Cabin Fever/K&OJ tracks then he went into Rolling Papers for the ending and I just walked all the way to the back and caught shade

Good thing he was on main, that way people were far enough away not to realize he was just dancing around and saying a couple words over a backing track.

what a bummer I missed his set. There was a severe lack of tributes too Nate Dogg this Coachella. What a disappointment. The closest I got was Excision playing a remix of The Next Episode.

PAPERS!

EDIT: I am sure I got a contact high from every single joint that lit up around me during his set.

Which was actually pretty sick, especially since he let the original go for a bit before the remix.

I only saw a couple of Wiz Khalifa songs at the very end of his set. The crowd back where I was was kind of mellow on it (except for one wigger stoned out of his ass in True Religions and Air Forces that had the goofiest shiteating grin and was dancing the whole time), but I will say that Wiz has bypassed the live rap pitfall early in his career (ie screaming the lyrics a la Odd Future). He sounded good although the songs aren't my favorite...out of that whole group/genre of rappers (Wiz, Cudi, Curren$y, X.V. etc.) he's probably my least favorite, although I know plenty of people who love him.
