If she's gonna come out and do what she did, I don't care if she builds a teepee on stage.

She was my closer and quite a good one at that.

AMAZING!

Anyone else think her set was quite short? I mean she could have played for another hour. Not even an encore... love her set though.

Wasn't she fifteen minutes late? That accounts for some of the shortness to her set, I suppose... that, and she only wanted to play those songs. She came on right after The Strokes' Last Night ended its bleed on the Outdoor Theater. The feathers were cool, actually. Eliza Doolittle was a little too "Native american" for my taste, with her mini-headdress thingydoo... but her butt makes up for it. PJ's feathers accentuated her beauty =)

Chromeo was running late, so I don't think her set was shorter than scheduled. anyone got the setlist?

This was a good fucking set.

Yeah it was Chromeo's fault she got out late. I surely could have stood there another hour if she kept going.

yeah chromeo. because he played that last one song for "all you people who have been down with chromeo since day one"

the one act someone forgot to tell no one has ever heard of.

pj was lovely, i wish she had played more, but i believe she flew over here, did what she wanted and needed, and felt satisfied with that.

Didn't seem to be any different than any of her other shows. Mostly England material with Big Exit and Down By The Water thrown in. Amazing show!

Uh I don't know where you guys get the idea that she played a shorter set, she's been doing the Let England Shake + 3 or 4 old songs thing this whole tour. I, for one, was incredibly glad that Chromeo went on so late because I was able to get a great spot exiting from deep in the main stage crowd during The Strokes and only missed the first song.

That being said, jesus fucking christ was she spot on. Bringing Mick Harvey and John Parish on stage was also an inspired choice. I just wish I had made it to the front to be with some of the boardies for this incredible sunday night performance.

TAKE. ME. WITH. YOUUU.

PJ played for exactly the amount of time allotted to her on the schedule, 50 minutes. She started and ended almost exactly 20 minutes late. It seemed like a lot of the stages had about this amount of delay by the end of Sunday.

It's cause Chromeo went over their time by 20 or 30 minutes. I was waiting anxiously for The Strokes to end, all the while with my eyes on the Outdoor. It looked like they didn't even end til about 9:55 when she was supposed to go on at 9:45. But her allotted time was only supposed to be 50 minutes anyway. Complete bullshit for PJ to only play that long, but every minute was bliss.

I'm not saying her set was shortened, only that it was too short.

What an angel, sooo glad I got a great spot and knew nothing of her "live" abilities. I refused to look her performances up for want of a surprise and boy did she deliver. Personally I am glad she played so much of Let England Shake.

So I guess I was the only one who was unimpressed with this performance? I've seen her before and I'll see her again but this set just didn't do anything for me.

I'm really glad people are talking about this. She was SO good. My only complaint is that she didn't do an encore.

Saw you on the jumbotron, I think. You've got me way beat for King of the Rail 2011, if that's the case.
