I agree, in-air wifi is worth every penny.
and HB, yes, availability varies by airline and model aircraft.

Dag. Probably wont be on Southwest then. Were only in the air for like 11 minutes anyway tho I guess.

i was very excited to find out today that my flight tomorrow is WIFI, ill be posting how fucking scared I am as we take off towards the rockies with high winds and mega turbulence

Certain airlines/certain aircraft. You can check your flight info on the airline's website; there will usually be a WiFi symbol in the flight info if the plane has it.
US Airways has is on all the A321s.

Haha I feel your pain! lived in Boulder for 5 years and always remember the crazy turbulence you get flying out of that low lying plain where DIA is and heading up into the Rockies. Usually primed myself with some airport cocktails before those flights
