What do you guys think? Do they both suck ass? I'm willing to say Clarkson has better tunage these days with that "since you been gone" rocker song. Much better than Stefani with that wind it up shit. What say you Coachella boardies?

Gwen for sure.
Even though her new music is terrible, she would probably put on an entertaining show.
Id also be hoping for a No Doubt tune or two.
Kelly Clarkson would be boring.

I'd do both without a condom.

gwen for sure. No Doubt used to be legit. Kelly Clarkson has a great voice, but she's not in the "in-crowd" if you know what I mean....oakland raiders for life.

Gwen of course, but she will grace a Coachella stage with No Doubt in time I think...

i dont see how you can choose kelly clarkson. definitely gwen is shes performing no doubt material. but even if shes playing her newer crappier stuff, its hard to pick kelly clarkson.

Gwen would put on a good show.
With japanese girls dancing I'd guess...

I'm not a fan of her new stuff either...

i could never really stand gwen stefani, or no doubt for that matter.
i would rather see kelly clarkson if was a matter of between life and death.
but all in all, neither really do anything for me.

i would vote for gwen, but clarkson just looks so much more like a woman - not a girl trapped in a man's body.

I think either would get booed off.

Gwen, she's kinda lost creative control lately by having too much creative control she gave it away to her collaborators but I saw No Doubt in 2000 at the emp grand opening in seattle and they were the best band that performed in my opinion.

Gwen does have some very catchy songs, besides Wind It Up, which was just painful to listen to. I hate to say it, but the song Sweet Escape has been stuck in my head for quite some time now.

I hold little respect for both, but at least Gwen Stephani didn't come out of a formulaic American Idol contest. She also did a surprise concert with No Doubt at my high school when school got out, which was awesome.

So how did the anti-Gwen movement come about? She's too mainstream for the cool indie kids? Her music's become overproduced radio-friendly crap (even though early No doubt was always radio-friendly crap)?

Ridiculous.

I agree with everything you just said! The Sweet Escape has been stuck in my head too! Ugh... Its not my fault it's catchy though. Wind It Up makes me want to stab my ears out.

it's hilarious how people got mad for them not playing ska/reggae, so when they did again, people met the record with 'maybe it's best you didn't'.

i liked it and it was a good dance record. return of saturn for the win though.

Hahaha. I at first thought it was Gwen doing that. Im like... whats wrong with your voice Gwen?
Then I saw Akon come into the video. Then I laughed at him, because by doing those vocals, hes become Gwens bitch.

I'd pick Gwen anyday. At least she writes her own music. Plus, her new stuff isn't THAT bad.. in a pinch I guess. But I too long for the No Doubt days...

I was really glad when I heard Sweet Escape, because I hadn't heard her singing voice in a while...
