Which Likely Tent Acts Do You Expect To Have The Biggest Crowds

I know the tents are larger this year...but which likely Gobi/Mojave acts do you fear will have crowds as unmanageable and dangerous for late comers as the likes of Yeasayer, Gossip and Florence and the Machine had last year.

Titus Andronicus, Foals, !!! and Elbow (if not on outdoor) are four that immediately spring to mind for me.

If Aquabats are on around 5, I anticipate them to have a large crowd.
Same with Flogging Molly and Gogol Bordello. I can't FM in a tent but rather on the main stage, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Definitely see EOTS getting ridiculously packed at the Sahara.
I have a feeling Lauryn Hill be on the outdoor theatre sometime at night but I could be wrong

I really doubt ODAAL will be in the Sahara. I'm gonna guess main stage or maybe the Mojave tent.

I'd agree on your list... I'd love to see Robyn again, but I have a feeling she's going to have a very popular set.

If EOTS plays against Arcade Fire, that should hopefully even out the crowds a bit. I'm interested in what AF will do as the first headliner...

Also, I think OFF! and Pains of Being Pure will get a boost from their recent Pitchfork love.

Last time FM played the Outdoor, IIRC and Gogol played Main. I doubt they will be downgraded to tents.

What I was getting at is that because FM and Gogol are so upbeat and energetic, the best setting for them would be in a tent. It's doubtful since they've both played the Outdoor theatre and Main stage but still, smaller spaces are more their type of environment.

Sorry, misunderstood and I understand. Unfortunately, I think the tents would be too small to contain their audiences. I think Outdoor is perfect for both acts, but Gogol will be on the main again, I'm sure. Possibly Flogging Molly as well.

The drawback was that when I saw Gogol in '08, albeit being a great set, it was nowhere near as good as their tent set in '07. That tent was packed to the gills and the crowd went absolutely nuts when they went on.

I can agree when you say it'd be small to hold in their audiences so I'm personally hoping for main stage for FM (if not the tent and because I'd love to see the double circle pits going on either side of the stage) but not so much Gogol even though that'll probably be the case.

A photo in another thread shows skeleton setups for 3 tents the same size as the Sahara. Usual placements as gobi/mojave.
