a lot of this looks bitching.. interesting to see what grows out in the desert (with a wee bit of water piped in from hundreds of miles away of course ;-)

Ill pass on the kale though... (without blanching it first and getting it in a really hot skillet, its too tough)

Can you go even if you aren't camping??

Good question.

As StickJohn said below, yes anyone can get access to the Farmer's Market as long as you have a venue pass. We had people last year coming from all areas of the campgrounds and the festival.

Stickjohn

Yes - anyone with a festival wristband can enter the camping areas (except Safari.) You can rollerskate, hit the merch sale, etc.

From the FAQ (http://www.coachella.com/event/rules-faq)

NO Outside Food & Bev

So, sorry, you likely won't be able to bring food/drinks into the festival. But the campgrounds are a very fun place to hang out in.

I was very happy to be able to fill up on fresh fruit in the mornings last year; I am looking forward to it again in a few days!

For those of you wondering where EXACTLY the Farmer's Market will be located, the 2011 Campground Map: http://coachella.com/images/cmp1000.jpg shows us in the exact same spot as last year. We're right by the Clubhouse and Lake Eldorado at Lot 8.

Here is a map I made highlighting the location:
