Coachella needs to get at least one of these bands on the bill one of these years. I know Wolf Parade is going on indefinite hiatus and will be playing their last show for now at Sasquatch, but dammit why couldn't we get them too. Luckily the other two side projects are just as good and I really hope we see them in the future.

Wolf Parade played Coachella years ago and hated it from all accounts.

I doubt that Sunset Rubown will ever play Coachella but I think that they would explode in popularity if it ever happened.

Sunset Rubdown is fucking amazing inside a small venue. I think they could kill the outdoor theatre if given the opportunity.

Ok, I'll be the one to say that I would be happy if Handsome Furs played - Dan is talented too, you know!

Surprised you didnt mention Swan Lake, IMOP they would be better fit for coachella than any of the three you mentioned. Im going to watch Destroyer in a couple hours, I think Dan and Spencer have a cool chemistry together. Wolf Parade was actually really good a couple years ago in one of the smaller tents.

Hey I say hes just as talented as Spencer. I find myself enjoying the Furs stuff just as much as Sunset. And dare I say his songs on the past 2 Wolf Parade albums were better overall. Furs would make more sense since they have an album coming out sometime in the next 3 months. Sadly theyre touring the east coast during Coachella. Purposely avoiding us ...

Anything Wolf Parade related works. Moon Face? Johnny and the Moon? Frog Eyes? Atlas Strategic? Amazing how 10 bands have branched out from these guys .. and they keep coming. Makes the probable Wolf Parade break up less painful.

I would kill.. literally kill.. to see Sunset Rubdown at Coachella.
especially like a late night Mojave or Outdoor...

too bad it's probably not ever gonna happen.

Their set was plagued with tech problems and they looked extremely frustrated. But did they ever come out and say that they disliked the festival?

Wolf Parade really really hated their coachella experience. Handsome furs are in the middle of an east coast tour during coachella. and sunset rubdown are also "taking a break".
