For the most part its usually assigned seats, but everyone just packs in and being an open atmosphere and seeing the city lights and a good show everything just kinda works itself out. I have never had a bad expierence at redrocks and I go to atleast 5 shows a year there.

I'm confused about the Seattle venue. WaMu Center is not a concert venue unless they're going to be up on the roof garden or in the art gallery. I'm thinking the WaMu Theater is more likely. I wonder if the Gorge was already booked that weekend...

Electroma looks pretty fantastic from the trailer.

I'm an extra in Electroma. They filmed parts of it near my parents home, and I was driving down to see the White Stripes at the Greek. All the traffic was stopped at this one town and the traffic cop, who is a family friend and knows how much I like music, said "Hey, you should go up there. Some punk band is filming a video." I parked my car and went up, and Thomas and Guy-Manuel were in an italian sports car on the set, dressed as the robots. They gave a buncha local townspeople helmets to wear, and we walked around town for awhile. It was all over our newspaper for the next month, because nothing ever happens in small towns.

Since it seems to start in June, I think they should have warm up gig at an earlier date, you know to get their set down...perhaps April 28th, maybe in Indio, CA.

They would only have to play about 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

WaMu Theatre is very very new. There haven't been many shows there that anyone I know up here would go to. The first show, if I remember correctly, was "An Evening with Seal." It was like 4 hours long, I think. The first big show that I would even consider going to there is the Stooges, which hasn't yet happened. It's right by Qwest Field, and it has seats. I assume they will be removed.

Go to a ticketmaster venue that has no line. You will get tickets. Just dont let a fucker wearing a trenchcoat be in front of you so he can try to get six consecutive tickets for the Roger Waters show that went on sale the day before on his fucking credit card.
