If they play Dangerous Dreams the whole way through it will be a party, the new album kinda sucked

Fuck yes. This is one of the first bands I liked ever, they played in LA a few times. I kissed a girl at one of their shows and drove her home in my mom's volvo. Their first LP was not great and I haven't heard anything since that but I'm stoked for their set, their EP is still amazing. M>U DOGGGG

...You know, same here. (well for the most part) hehehe. They definitely remind me of when I first started going to shows (Glasshouse) and YES, definitely one of my first favorite bands. They have so much energy, I especially love the drummers energy. They are three awesome, old men. Love em. lol I'm exicted to Move to the Units! <3

I'm positive they will play Dangerous Dreams. Definitely 'Emancipation' - 'Between Us and Them' - 'Anyone' - 'Available'

Hexes for Exes, ...just...give it a second chance. :D

It was like the fourth show I ever went to, I was 16 years old at the El Rey. People were STRETCHING before their set because they were a local LA band and people knew what was up... it was one of those things that made me who I am today. I don't really care about their new stuff, I'm glad they're playing 'cause they'll always have that place in my heart and it's going to be wonderful to relive that.

I've seen moving units several times between 2003 and 2005. And every time it was a fun and energetic show that really did seem like parties like the best rapture shows used to.

In my opinion, they never quite lived up to the enormous potential of the first ep. The later stuff was okay and nowhere near deserving of the awful reviews it received. I have no idea what they're like now, but I will check it out for sure. Should be fun.

Five of my favorites:

Melodrama
X+Y
Between Us and Them
Birds of Prey
Submission

Also, remember this m<u? or was it m>u?

I was at that Nokia show. They were opening band for The Faint. They they were okay, but I think it's one of the bands that doesn't sound the same live as compared to their album.

If you were to put a genre on this music would it be new wave/punk? Or, how would you describe this to someone who has never listened?

They better drop "Submission", probably the best bassline on all of Dangerous Dreams. we are vulgar...
