I saw them at Coachella in 2008, main stage if I remember correctly. They were good, I am/was a fan and was happy. Their new stuff isn't quite as good, in my opinion.. but still worth seeing.

Great band but starting to sound like KOL as of tomorrow.

Saw them last time they played, great stage presence, great songs. Worth it if you haven't seen em before.

I have slowly become more and more obsessed with this band since their first album, but have yet to see them live. They are a definite for me this year.

I really like cwk and they are usually great live but the new album is real bad.

I saw them live in 2008 with Death Cab. Pretty damn good. He oozes nothing but soul live. There's absolutely no way I'm gonna miss them at Coachella.

They are playing a free show tomorrow at the Amoeba Music (http://www.amoeba.com/live-shows/performances/hollywood/2011-january-25/cold-war-kids/artist.html) store in Hollywood. Maybe I'll check them out.

They are great live. Their new album, Mine Is Yours, is better than their previous one, Loyalty To Loyalty, but not as good as their first, Robbers & Cowards.

Their first album had great songs. I didn't bother with the second one though. Hopefully their new material sounds good live

New discovery for me... will definitely make their set a priority. Robbers and Cowards is a great album.

Seen them twice, really good live. Although they are better suited to a club/bar than a festival.

The new album has a lot of polish but isn't up there with their old stuff.

You can thank Jacquire King for that... he ruined the KOL, the Whigs, and now he's taking his turn destroying another band. That guy needs to take his garbage producing/mixing away from indie bands.

I enjoyed their Coachella set in 2008 and their early material, but not enough to really keep up with them. I'll probably give them a look this year, though.

Great song writing. Great guys. As time goes on they sort of lose their super signature sound that they developed on their EPs and Robbers & Cowards, but still good. Listening to their new album really made me sick for a while (except for a couple songs) but this morning I gave it another spin and it didn't bug me QUITE as much which makes me think it might grow into one of those guilty pleasure albums. I have a hard time turning my back on these guys.

Lots of energy live, especially on their older tracks which they still play a good amount of. Definitely worth checking out.

They were good the last time they played Coachella, and I'll probably see them again. Here is a live clip from Lolla...

saw them a few years ago and they were great; really nice guys too. will definitely check them out again. haven't heard the whole new album but yeah, it's definitely not getting great reviews. but I really liked the first single they put out from it --

GS8NYRLU-xs

but even if the newest album is crap, the first two are great.

I liked the Behave Yourself EP too.

I'm hoping the new album doesn't drift too far from this, as this was enough of a drift from the first album.

I only caught the first two opening tracks at chella this year (amazing as always) -- I've seen them so many times that I thought it would be smart to check out some other bands. One of the only decisions I regret about this years Coachella :-/
