Really keen to see these guys as their album has been heavily repeated since it was released. Plus I think they'd make an awesome sing-a-long band live.

I saw them at Outside Lands last year and they were great. I'll be at their set pending any conflicts

I saw them 3 times at SXSW last year! They are so fun and kind of endearing at the same time!

Finally checked out their album, a little bit too poppy at times but still really good. Should sound great on the main stage early in the day.

'cept Vampire Weekend is terrible and these guys at least have a poppy charm to keep them somewhat entertaining.

Girlfriend wants to see them, so I'll be there if I don't have anything else going on at that time.

Saw them twice last year. First time they were ok but the second time they were fucking atrocious. Hopefully they've gotten their live show solidified because they were all over the place both times I saw them.

My "environmental" take on the NYC Band Freelance Whale's "Hannah"

Lyrics inspired by Coachella VIP Krystee Clark.

I enjoyed that video that was posted and a few songs on the album but it started reminding me of owl city.....that was when I said dammit and turned off the album

They're like if Owl City was actually talented and awesome.

I'll be at their set.

Did a search for "Freelance Whales" on MySpace because their Facebook only has YouTube videos, which tend to have to "buffer".

I am now a bit confused...

I see...

Actually it was my daughter who did that search last night--I was sleep deprived.

I think I found the actual MySpace page:

Thanks!

I guess we can chalk up Coachella's perfect sound for making these guys awesome. Couldn't find anything wrong with the entire set.

How cute and endearing was that girl?

I love how they can change instruments, truly multi-talented musicians! They were awesome.

I had to come in here and apologize. These guys were great. The set was miles away from the video that was posted in this thread.
