...Kele comes off like a total dick in this interview.

Aiden Vaziri always does stupid shit in interviews. He/she thinks they are clever or something. But Kele does come off like an ass.

those are questions are stupid and the interviewer just wanted to get a rise out him. It sounds like it backfired and he just took the best parts of the interview.

yeah...that's quite possibly the worst set of interview questions i've ever seen

That guy sounds like a high school paper reporter. Ridiculously bad.

I think he was pissed that the guy wasn't asking him what his favorite color was, and what he wanted to be when he grows up.

Q: In just two years you went from being a university student to this indie-rock icon. Did writing these songs help you process all that?

:rotfl what a stupid question

The reporter was just being stupid, they were probably mad about the let down called "A Weekend In The City", but I think on Kele's wikipedia it says it is hard to interview him... Whatever.

He might as well have. Where does your fascination with vampires come from? What's your favorite drug? This guy isn't writing a music interview, he's fishing for a Rolling Stone kind of "Oh my god, the famous guy said something about pot" q and a.

Seriously, read these weekly. It's the same shit. It is never funny, and continues to be printed for some unknown reason.

Okay, calling him a dick was pretty harsh, but I've read a ton of interviews like that, and 9 times out of 10, the interviewees roll with his dumb-ass questions and have a sense of humor about it. I just thought Kele wouldn't take himself so seriously. If anything, fault the publicist for not doing his/her homework on the writer.

But why not fault the writer for being a complete douche? He/she is in the wrong profession and apparently has never taken a journalism class in their life.

That is true as well. Both lose in this situation.

Kele came out of the closet around the time his latest album was released.

I'm seeing Bloc Party next Friday, but that interviewer came off as the bigger ass. Kele just came off as annoyed
