Maybe its just me but saturday seems really weak. Friday and Sunday seem to be efficient but what is going on with saturday? what do they expect us to see all day? How does Animal Collective and Mumford & Sons get the two subheadliner spots? As I see it Both of them will probably be playing at the same time as Arcade Fire. So who is worth seeing during the day? besides maybe gogol bordello.

One Day As A Lion
Daedelus
Gogol Bordello
Shpongle
Swell Season
The Kills
New Pornographers
Cage the Elephant
Jenny Lewis
Marky

Neighborhood Creep
01-19-2011, 06:20 AM
Arcade Fire
Mumford and Sons
Gogol Bordello
The Kills
Fedde Le Grande
Wire
Trampled by Turtles (from my city, a must see to start off the day)
Tallest Man on Earth
Raphael Saadiq

But I do agree that it's the weakest of the 3 days, by far. The Sahara tent will be half ass. That will most likely be the day I check out the art and look around more.

Yes, there is lots. If you are unfamiliar with any or all, the website does have links to all the artists websites. Also, don't forget to check out the Swell Season, who, in my opinion, is way too low on the poster. For those who have seen them, you know what I am talking about.

Shpongle,
the Kills,
and as many as I can get to that I don't know at all.... : ) yes!

Saturday is by far the best day of the weekend. I will have conflicts coming out the ass. Wire, Tallest Man on Earth, New Pornographer, The Kills, Mumford & Sons, Gogol Bordello, Foals, Erykah Badu, Bright Eyes, Big Audio Dynamite, Arcade Fire, Animal Collective. I have no idea how I'm going to see all those.

Sunday is the day where there is almost nothing of interest to me. Lightning Bolt, The National, yes. I'll probably watch PJ Harvey and the Strokes and Gord Downie, but I'm not real excited about it.

Empire Of The Sun is pretty fun. But just because you don't recognize any names doesn't make it weak.

I obviously didn't look at the poster close enough. I had no idea Jenny would be there!

I really would like to check them out, but I bet I'll have conflicts dammit.

I think if we traded half of saturday with half of sunday, both the people who like saturday and those who like sunday would be happier.

Right now Saturday is my "weak" day too, but I haven't had a chance to discover the new to me bands just yet. I feel like the Sahara is underbooked this year, in past years Saturdays have been my biggest day/night for the Sahara.

yes, Saturday is the best day (Elbow, Suede, the Kills, Arcade Fire, New Pornographers, Gogol Bordello, Mumford & Sons). Hopefully nobody commits suicide during the Swell Season set.

I think Friday is the weakest, though I'm excited about Interpol and Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

that makes the most sense. I think if friday was AF and saturday was Strokes and sunday stayed the same with Kanye a lot more people would be happy with at least the headliners.

Thanks everyone for letting me know who is good on saturday. I will be sure to check all of those out. I just wish there were a few more electronic and rock acts on saturday thats all. It just seems like a slow day. I guess I'll just have to smoke more that day ; )

Here, here. Swell Season is billed way low. Cannot believe that. They were quite kick ass when I saw them at the Bowl.

And Bright Eyes, duh. Anyone worth seeing? Are you fucking kidding me?

I cant believe only one person has mentioned Two door cinema club!! My favourite album of 2010. Are they not well known in the states??? They are really popular here in Australia. (they are from Northern Ireland)
