Didn't see anything in the FAQs about the availability of single-day passes.

Will there be any?

Some friends want to go to Sunday only cause they don't think they can handle the full weekend. /noobz

Tickets
Where can I buy passes? I don't have a credit card to use online/phone?

Take your cash to a grocery store and purchase a prepaid credit card to use.
Will there be passes sold at the event?

No passes will be sold at the venue. Period.
Is a 3-day pass three separate tickets?

No. It is one wristband that is good for the entire weekend. Void if removed or tampered with.
Why?

Because.

Not explicit but pretty much answers your question.

yes, a 3-day pass isn't 3 tickets. I get that. I wasn't asking about a 3-day pass. GV is specific and deliberate with the language they use.

Depending on ticket sales, they may decide to release single day passes. I'm sure they are keeping that option open. I wouldn't bet on it though.

As of RIGHT NOW, it looks like they may be doing pro-rated tickets at the door if possible.

It should also be noted that 2 hours ago, the site said, "No passes will be sold at the venue. Period." as well.

with the current list of bands...there aren't any headliners that will make anyone JUMP to fly from much distance as they had in the past.

Daft Punk and Arcade Fire do not have the pull that others could had have....like Beastie Boys or White Stripes.

while they don't plan on them...don't ever count it out.

That's what everyone said last year and it sold out.

I hope they sell a limited number of single day tickets. Someone close to me wants to go, but has some health concerns and doesn't feel comfortable going all three days. She's attended nearly every year, and it’s sad to imagine not having her there. I would be very thankful if they brought them back.

If Jay-Z, Muse and Gorillaz could sell out so could this, the undercard is fuckin awesome and the Sahara is the best it's been since I started going. I bet there will be no single day tickets unless people really aren't buying 3 day passes.

i highly doubt they will sell single day tickets. why would you want to go for single day anyway? the point is to stick around for 3 days and enjoy the hell out of it.

You underestimate the power of this Caifanes reunion. I have people's MOMS telling me that they will buy tickets to Coachella this year. If you're in California, it's WAY cheaper to buy the festival ticket and then just go Friday than buy a plane ticket plus festival pass for their Mexico City date. You are blinded by the Kings of Leon and even then, they have a fanbase with $$$$. $$$ does talk right? WATCH...

Wrong, a lot of people will "jump" to see the Strokes. The Western Hemisphere will be creaming in its collective pants for the Strokes!
