Well sure but I've seen em before. They're definitely a nice surprise but in my mind they don't have the pull of the bands I mentioned. And apart from DFA, too many of the bands on the first two lines are run of the mill festival fodder.

Mew was actually some family related cancellation a couple days before the Volcano. I don't think they were even on the Schedule when posted.

Speaking of which, Glasvegas has a new one out and didn't play in 2009 after someone in the band got sick backstage.

Is there any speaking only acts on the bill like Hank Rollins or John Waters?

I had a feeling Wavves wouldn't make it, but why Jeff Mangum? I mean it would have been awesome to hear some NMH shit but I just didn't see that happening.

Headliners for Fri/Sun are rather weak, but there are always those late additions that fuck everyones mind.

i didn't really look into bloggers predictions at all. there's just certain acts that made sense to me given the circumstances (releases, touring, etc.) who didn't make it on here.

i'm not necessarily complaining, but it's still disappointing that those few didn't get on the lineup.

that said, it's still a great lineup.
