I looked up and down the lineup, but no Electric Love Machine, Chemical Toilet or Pecan Sandies. Booooo! Still holding out hope they'll be a late Prince-style Friday headliner add.

What happened? Devito made one comment on a talk show. That's hardly a lock.

Multiple people heard from Danny Devito saying it was gonna happen this year, not just on that talk show.

they could have performed the nightman cometh, not that lack of music ever stopped anyone from performing at coachella. Henry Rollins just talked for an hour back in '09.

they could have performed the dayman musical, not that lack of music ever stopped anyone from performing at coachella. Henry Rollins just talked for an hour back in '09.

John Waters did last year too.

i was lucky enough to see The Nightman Cometh at the Palladium last year (or whenever it was) and was close enough to get Devito's spit splashed on me...i don't think that could ever be topped, but i'm still bummed they won't be there.

Cute kid. And responsible hipster parenting (via hearing protection).
