Sun - Animal Collective

Why would you poop your pants for Animal Collective? Its not like they've never played before, in fact if they were to come back it'd be their like...3rd time?

Save the shit for bands that deserve it, not bands you can see 5 times a year at festivals and what have you.

well, yes. and i'd poop at the chance to see that happen.

this is basically working up to what I've been saying about Animal Collective for a while now. (that they should just chill on the new-new stuff and just play an amazing set. get back to their roots a bit, but show how they've grown)
Deakin being back in the band only adds to this possibility.

so yeah.. my hopes are probably too high.

Yes, but:

They wouldn't allow the footage onto the VHS/DVD because they were unhappy with their performance

Phil Collins was 'guest drummer', Tony Thomson was 'drummer'

Could you imagine PC doing any justice to the experimental parts of, say, Dazed and Confused?

Did they play in London or Philly? I think the latter, right? As I recall, someone (Collins, Elton) played both shows --- London early, then caught a plane to Philly for an evening performance.

Philly. Phil Collins flew across on the Concorde and accomplished the double-dip.

Now I'll have to dust off my Live-Aid DVD box set (sans Zep) and torture my kids again.
