YES!!! their show always grows increasingly elaborate and fabulous. And I mean that in the gayest way possible...

They've also said that this tour will be even more over the top, should make for a great 45 minutes on the polo fields...

I think their strategy is to announce a new tour at the end of every tour.

I'm still coughing up feathers and confetti from the last tour. Kevin is trying to kill us. I'm in.

+1

Always a fun time, and they seem to have gotten a lot stronger as a live band.

One of the best sets about Lolla '09. I wasn't even sad about missing Andrew Bird.

The first time I saw Of Montreal, it was too much about the kitchy, pointless theatrics and not enough about the music. Not a good show.

Then I caught them again when they co-headlined with Janelle Monae, and it was even more ridiculously over-the-top. It just felt pointless.

BUTBUTBUT. When they played "She's a Rejector" at that second show, it tore the fucking roof down. I'm confident these guys can put together a killer set if they want, but if they bring fully-costumed actors to Coachella like they did on their last tour, I say skip it.

At festival sets, they tone the theatrics to merely background antics while they play, it's the best of both worlds in my opinion.

I wasn't as impressed with the material from False Priest live as their older stuff. The Past is a Grotesque Animal is one of my all time favorite songs and they closed with it when I saw them in November. That song is such a trip. Hope to hear it on the polo fields.

I've seen OM about 5 times now... and dressed the part every time. But, alas, I have to agree with the poster: I would love to see the band perform a stripped down, about-the-songs set sans distractions... And I'm hoping that they move away from the heavy R&B influence of the most recent album. That said: I'd still go see 'em... they're that good.

The one on setlist wiki isn't in the right order. Should I post it anyway?
