CROSBY, STILLS, NASH & YOUNG are close to being signed for the Friday night "classic rock everybody let's sing along" headliner.

This is about 4 times as interesting as just a Neil Young set.

My homeboy just dropped this one on me this morning. I probably shouldn't say anything but have a hard time keeping news like this to myself.

Please discuss.

As per their Wikipedia:

"In 2009, Crosby, Stills & Nash released Demos, an album made up of demos recordings of popular group and solo songs. In June 2009 Crosby, Stills and Nash performed at the Glastonbury Festival , England. Stephen Stills was praised for his exceptional guitar playing.[27] Neil Young did not appear onstage with them but did perform as a solo artist.[28] In July 2009, they headlined the 14th annual Gathering of the Vibes festival. Halfway through their set, they enthusiastically announced to the crowd that they would be back next year."

I believe it. On board.

I would rather see Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Stephen Stills is a prick.

I saw CSN back in 2009 and they were ok but Stills voice is totally shot to hell.
Neil Young solo please

If this is real I'd be so bummed. I'm not 55 years old and I'm not trying to go to Stagecoach with my dad. This would be so boring that I guarantee no more than 5 of you saying you'd be stoked on this would actually watch the whole set.

Sounds like a lot of 50+ year olds in tye dyes puffing dirt weed out of paper doobies.

God, 50 year olds in tye dyes puffing on doobies sounds abysmal. I much rather prefer twentysomethings in pastels puffing on BLUNTS. Amirite!

Saw CSNY back in 06. Crosby Stills and Nash combined couldn't have put on a better show than Neil did. I would much rather see him solo. He still hasn't played an electric set in LA since he canceled the Forum?

I dunno, you can smoke "paper doobies" inside my home, but you must go outside with your blunt.

Actually yeah, you are right, I'd much rather Coachella be loaded with hot girls in pastels puffing blunts. Doing drugs and sleeping with them sounds much better than puffin doobs with Agnes from Scottsdale.

FESTIVALS ARE FOR FUCKING!

PS I smoke hemp or raw papers. By paper doobies, I meant literal paper (Zig Zags). Old guys tend to smoke Zigs, disgusting metal pipes, etc. cuz that's all there was back then.

Once again, you are being sarcastic, but totally agreeing with my sensibilities!

Won't happen but that doesn't mean it can't happen. They were at Glastonbury in 2009 & played a ton of festivals in Europe this past summer.

I grew up with David's son & current keyboard player. He still one of my best friends. Should I ask?

I saw CSN last year at a Casino in the Coachella Valley. As much as I like their music, their performance sucked eggs. Most of the songs they sang were covers of other bands.

Adding Y might help, but they are no longer relevant.

Dude, some of us fucks are 60. That should scare the shit out of you until you get there. Neil Young acoustic, and then electric with Crazy Horse. That should blow the mind of any self respecting twentythirtysomethingnothing. Way beyond CS&N.
